Today I honor our mothers and all of you who mothe Today I honor our mothers and all of you who mother. I celebrate the incredible women who nurture and love something greater than themselves. This month I had the heartwarming honor of speaking to the @philoptochos women of the Direct Archdiocesan District (DAD) at their annual AGAPE Luncheon. This team, led by President Jennifer Constantin, absolutely outdid themselves! Joining you was an intimate and uplifting experience @dadphiloptochos I was overjoyed to have so many fellow board members and sisters from @churchofoursaviour beside me. You all mother me so tenderly. Fittingly, I praised our efforts to mother our Church and those in our communities who need us most. I also spoke about the incredible power of sharing stories, revealing our vulnerabilities, and empowering others through our tenacity. Share your failures and challenges; you won’t always know who you inspire. Best of all, I had my mom close by. Happy Mother’s Day to my biggest inspiration and the woman who has joined me in Philoptochos adventures for some 25 years. I love continuing the values of service, community, and sisterhood that you taught me. Swipe to see us the last time I addressed Philoptochos (2005) at the Fancy Hat Affair at St. Spyridon Cathedral in Worcester. I also found a gem from a Festival of Teas at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Vestal, NY when I was on air and living in Binghamton. So grateful for this tradition! #blessed #philoptochos

I’m celebrating the women who came to support @greenwichunitedway mission: stepping up to help others step forward. I’m celebrating GUW’s commitment to teen mental health, building an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program right here in our Town. I’m celebrating the many ways my village uplifted me in a “pinch me” moment. As I told Gabby Bernstein, Greenwich women are DOERS… we organize, we join, we create, we launch, we found, we SUPPORT. I’m celebrating the real-time wisdom @gabbybernstein offered us that I’m still internalizing: ✨If I find joy in what I do I am successful. ✨ I surrender my goals to a power greater than me. ✨ I will push past fear; I was born to do this. I’m celebrating an incredible female-founded company @caricapri for choosing the most ethereal gown that matched my joy and energy so perfectly. It was a good day. I

Happy International Women’s Day! The absolute b Happy International Women’s Day! The absolute best part of living in Greenwich is being surrounded by incredible women! I never have to look far for inspiration. In fact, I ended 2022 by helping the YWCA Greenwich pay homage to its Women Who Inspire honorees. Introducing each recipient was a celebration of the human spirit and I was so moved by their achievements, fortitude, and humility. They are mothers, educators, innovators, philanthropists, changemakers, tastemakers, and entrepreneurs. Simply put, they make our community and world better. They empower other women with their own journey to empowerment. And, sometimes, their triumphs came in second or third attempts or careers, proving that we are never late to meet our destiny. I cried watching family members congratulate them. Today, I salute them and my village that I call home. Hooray for the holidays… and hilarious friends! Hooray for the holidays… and hilarious friends! @look_fairfieldcounty you outdid yourselves in kicking off the season with the most beautiful Design Day! The lunch, trunk show & tablescapes were just exquisite. Take me back! Best of all, I had the great joy of interviewing a phenomenal trio of tastemakers. Chef Alex Hitz and Interior Designers Alex Papachristidis and Richard Mishaan shared incredible insight (and a few secrets!) into the worlds of food and design. Their laughter was infectious and their camaraderie was palpable. Sometimes, I prepare, I research, I write… and then I throw it all out the window when I sit down. Truly listening and immersing myself in the conversation is what it’s all about. Gentlemen, it was a pleasure! @alexhitz @alexsviewpoint @richardmishaan
